Hello Beech class
Woohoo! School’s out for Summer!
What a year we’ve had! Who would have thought that by the end of the year, you would have gone through three different teachers (four or five if you count mum or dad); a global pandemic; and your school being closed for three months? But you’ve done it and come out the other side. Words cannot describe how proud I am of each and every one of you.
A big thank you to your parents for supporting you through this time. They can now add ‘teacher’ to their long list of skills! Thank you so much to Ms. Lobb who took over the virtual teaching while I was busy working with Reception. We couldn’t have done this without her! Thank you so much for the incredibly thoughtful presents. These are, without a doubt, the best gifts I’ve ever received from a class! Thank you for your hard work and dedication. Thank you for the uplifting videos that you sent in. Thank you for being the most perfect Year 3 class I could ever have hoped for! I’m sure you’re going to have a great time in Year 4 with Miss Smy. I’ve told her all about you and she’s completely over the moon! Best of luck in September, Beech class – I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you.
Have a glorious holiday,
Mr. Oyewole 💖
And Thank You Mr Oyewole!
Nearly there…just a few more words from me…
If you made it into school this week you should have got a printed version of the Class Photo. For those that didn’t please find a PDF version of the photo below.
A MASSIVE THANK YOU for all your cards and the amazing Beech Class Goodbye video. I didn’t think anything could have topped the Loo Roll Challenge, but I think this one did just that! I’m so pleased that we go to see each other in school this week. I know it’s all been very strange and un-nerving, but for one day we were able to feel like it had never happened!
Finally, please rest, relax and have fun during the Summer Hols. You have all done exceptionally well with your Home Learning and deserve a nice, long break! Here’s something to get you in the holiday mood…
See you in September
