Hello, Beech class!
Today we have a special message from someone you know well so look out for that in today’s post!

day 27

Spelling

There are no new spellings this week as I accidentally skipped a week earlier on and we need to make sure that our spellings are consistent with Oak classes. We shall resume next week. You can practise old spellings this week and should be able to access old quizzes on Purple Mash. Email me if you have any difficulty!

Times Table Rockstars

We are now working on our 6 times tables!  This is a real challenge and should set us up nicely for year 4 in September if we can get ahead with our times table learning!

Don’t forget that the 6 times tables are very similar to the 3 times tables, just doubled! Get practising!

Message from Ms. Marsh

Hello Beech!
Long time no see (or since I saw anyone really!). In more normal circumstances, I would have come in to visit you all at school by now so I thought I’d send you a quick update and let you know that I’m thinking of you.

Cleo was born on January 15th which means she’s almost four months old now and has already changed so much. She’s such a wonderful, happy and inquisitive little girl and is a joy to be around, though I do miss getting enough sleep! She particularly enjoys exploring the plants in our garden, staring at herself in the mirror and hearing songs and stories. She also loves grabbing things and because she’s teething at the moment is keen to chomp down on anything she can. I’m really excited about introducing her to you, whenever that may be and have included a few recent photos of her.

I know that the last couple of months must have been very strange for you all but I hope you and your families are keeping safe and well. Hopefully it won’t be too long until life gets back to some sort of normality and we can catch up in person. Until then, take care of yourselves and be good to your parents – they deserve it!

Ongoing weekly work

Don’t forget to get on with your TTRS, AR and Geography.

Take care,

Mr. Oyewole
